This--in my estimation (if you know differently let me know)--a Brass Order Ticket Holder. You know when you place an order they slam the written paper order down on the needle and slide it to the bottom. That's what I'm going with until someone informs me otherwise. I'm no expert. It is in good shape with a finely carved base. It measures approximately 7" H.
All my metal items will need a cleaning as the cleaner doesn't like me or me it.For condition please see pictures carefully, I try to note anything obvious.
