Calling all Glassware & Decorative Glassware fans!
This is a beautifully painted Japanese covered jar. It depicts sea-scenes of fish and underwater vegetation. The colors are wonderful. It looks to be in good shape. It is approximately 6 1/2" tall. There is a maker stamp on the bottom. It may have been used for storing tea, ginger or other spices.
This item may have minor scratches and scuffs, and age-related dirt or could use a good cleaning (though I saw nothing of note please see the pictures).
For condition please see pictures carefully, I try to note anything obvious.
