This listing is for a beautiful silver/silver-plate and wood butler's ashtray or crumb cleaner. I love finding out what things are used for but this one gave me a chuckle. I could use someone to go around cleaning up crumbs after my family, but alas it's not in the budget to have a butler let alone one with a tray and brush. It measures approximately 11 3/4"L x 6"dia. It is marked GORHAM - EP -YC135 and it has a gorgeous griffin engraved on the front face. It looks to be in good shape (see pictures).
This item may have minor scratches and scuffs, and age-related dirt or could use a good cleaning (though I saw nothing of note please see the pictures).
